Audition Preparation
I Don't Just Know What the Panel Is Listening For. I've Been the Panel.
As a certified NYSSMA adjudicator and Texas Region judge, I've personally listened to and scored hundreds of string auditions. I'm not guessing what happens on the other side of that table, I've sat there.
Unlike a practice app that can only tell you that a section went wrong, I can tell you why it went wrong, and exactly how to practice it so it's fixed for good. That's true for All-County, Region, All-State, college, and professional auditions alike.

What Most Audition Prep Gets Wrong
Most audition prep, whether it's through an app, a general practice tool, or even a well-meaning teacher, can tell a student what went wrong.
That's diagnosis. It's not the same as prescription. An app can score your intonation. It can't tell you why your hand drifted in that passage, or design the specific practice sequence that fixes it before your audition date.
That gap between diagnosis and prescription is exactly where students lose points they shouldn't:
Knowing what's wrong isn't the hard part.
Knowing exactly how to fix it is where I come in.
